Antelope Island Angoras

We started keeping bees in the Spring of 2011.  We've had 3 hives and caught a couple of swarms so far.  

2012 has been very prosperous for us.  15 gallons of honey along with 4 shallows of combs/rounds.  

We live close to the entrance of Antelope Island in Syracuse, Utah

*Where are the bees exactly- (how high, on what, in what..)

*Are the bees posing a problem (Children, traffic, etc.)

*Is there a beekeeper nearby that might own the bees?

*How big is the cluster of bees? (Softball, Basketball, Beachball size)

*Can someone meet me at the location?

How do you keep safe with a swarm nearby?

1. Keep a safe distance from the bees or stay indoors.

2. Do not spray them with water or pesticides.

3. Remember the bees will leave soon. They often will stay for a short time them move somewhere else when they find a better spot.
